I'm giving this 3 stars because I love their buffalo wings. Their pizza on the other hand is awful. No taste to it whatsoever. Bleh. My husband has also tried their ribs and some sandwiches and has never liked anything. I so wanted him to find something he likes so I can order wings from here, but it doesn't look like it's happening!

I was babysitting my nephews on Friday while my sister was out of town; this meant that my brother in law was in charge of dinner, which meant takeout pizza. He claims that this is the best pie in the area and picked it up on his way home. It's fucking good. I'm not really familiar with Chicago style deep dish and maybe it's all this awesome, but I'm not sure how I'll live without this food in my life for the next few weeks. They don't skimp on the sauce or the cheese at this place, as the toppings are completely hidden underneath a layer of crisp mozzarella. My brother chose sausage and jalapeño and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The pizza is so thick that two slices made me feel like I'd eaten an entire pizza (note: that doesn't mean I stopped at two). Whether this is a review of Jimano's or just Chicago style pizza in general, I'm not sure, but I'm a fan of em both.

Over priced. Decent pizza. DECENT. Won't order unless I have a coupon. Their delivery drivers are pretty bad... Slid pizza 3 times. Only ordered 4 times.

Pasta is not good. I do not usually order pasta from pizza places because of the bitterness in the sauce, but thought I would give them a try cause they claim to make their own marinara sauce. Unfortunately it tastes just like every other pizza place's sauce. Tastes like 50% of it is vinegar. Gross!! Half of that went in the garbage... Their "famous" breadsticks are horrible!!! Maybe they are famous because they are the world's worst breadsticks. More than half of those went in the garbage. Basically ate $5 worth of my $17 dinner. What a waste!!!

Delicious, and great service. They usually have a great daily special, or email or text promotion going on. They are higher priced than most of the local pizza places I've found, and definitely above national chain prices, but the quality is there. Twice my order has been late to my house, beyond an hour. Twice, the next day, I've gotten a phone call from the store manager to apologize and give me a coupon for 50% off my next order. Very pro-active and great customer service.

Though my vegetarian gluten-free pizza was pretty, I didn't *LOVE* it. Sure, it was tasty. But not my favorite. To be fair - my colleague loved his, and perhaps mine was less than delicious due to the gluten-free crust (which I got - not because I'm allergic - but because gluten seems to be linked to some not so good things). I think if I come here again, I'll try the standard crust - then compare.

I agree with the previous reviewer about paying more for a good pie than less for a bad one. Our thin crust 18" from this Jimano's was pretty ah okay. It was burnt on the edges. The sauce was good. The toppings and cheese were weak. Yes paying %50 off is a good deal but obviously the quality is down.

To die for alfredo sauce pizza! My classic fave is just alfredo and mushroom--that way you can really taste the alfredo sauce. With the buttery thin crust this one is a total winner. But I've also had it with sausage and to my delight the sausage added a really enjoyable layer of complexity. I also tried two pizza's the manager, Andrew, made special for us to try and I was really wowed. The first was an alfredo, garlic, chicken and bacon. I have to warn you, this one is really rich and not for the pizza lightweight. It's like eating the most amazing carbonara on a pie. Incredibly rich and decadent and worthy of a last meal. The second was a barbecue chicken pizza. I dove into this one because the prevalent scent of fresh garlic was so enticing. Imagine my delight and surprise to discover there was hot pepper on it. Really superb, and also rich. Brought this one home for my friends and they LOVED it! The staff here really has it together. these guys are wonderful: the service is fantastic. They really go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal. Go--order pizza and Have them make you something special. They're very creative and very good at what they do. Cheers guys!

Whoever the new management is - you guys have ruined the place. We used to order from the Round Lake location weekly - since you guys bought the place, or since whoever owns it hired new management, whatever, the pizza is AWFUL. Whatever you came in and "fixed", you should probably unfix it. Selling pizzas for 50% off and then leaving off half the toppings isn't really cool. I'd rather spend $24 for a good pizza that actually HAS extra cheese and meat on it than $12 for some cold rubbery piece of garbage with less than even a regular amount of toppings. (3 separate incidents.) Which is why we go out of our way to order from other Jimano's locations, even though we live a mile from the RLB one. :|

By far, my favorite take out pizza in the area, and the ribs aren't bad either. Can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with the food here and hope they are here to stay.

With Pat's Pizza closed in Grayslake, we had to find a replacement pizza place. Jimano's has certainly fit the bill. They always send out great coupons, which is a bonus. We love the thin crust and the double dough. The breadsticks, or breadstick fries as we call them, are great and unlike any other ones we have had before.

Ever get the feeling that there are too many pizza places is a small area. I do. Within a mile or so, there are about 10 if you include the grocery stores. So, it's a pick your poison kind of thing. This place is probably on the high end of all of the price wise. Is there anything that stands out that makes it worth the extra cost? Unfortunately no.. Is it good pizza? Yes. But so are many of the others. If it better than the big national chains? Yes. Is it better than all the other local shops? It's comparable. So, you decide what you want!!
